QUALIFICATIONS - Rebates are only available for landscape devices on the Qualifying Device List, found at www.bewaterwise.com. Not all devices qualify for rebates.
- Mulit-family and/or commercial sites do not qualify under this program. For mulit-family or commercial rebate information call (951) 845-2249.
- Rebates are available for single-family homes only. Each device will only be rebated one time per address.
- Device(s) must be installed at the address listed on the application prior to submittal of this application.
- Synthetic turf must replace existing or planned irrigated areas only. Synthetic turf that replaces concrete surfaces is not eligible for a rebate. Not all cities allow synthetic turf installation.
- Rebates for synthetic turf and smart controllers will be paid based on the size of the area. To qualify for this program, you must accurately indicate the irrigated area on the application. As part of the on-site installation verification, an area measurement may be performed.
TERMS and CONDITIONS - To qualify for rebates, you must be an existing water customer of one of Metropolitan Water District's and the Family of Southern California Water Agencies. Not all water agencies participate, and not all devices are available in each participating city or water agency.
- Rebate amounts vary by water agency and are subject to change.
- Renters may be eligible with written consent of property owner. Renter's name must match the water bill and an explanation is required if rebate will be issued to a different name.
- All devices for which a rebate is issued are subject to an on-site installation verification inspection.
- Metropolitan and participating water agencies make no representation or warranty relating to products. This application is for a rebate only.
- Applicant waives and releases Metropolitan, participating water agencies, and their contractors or agents from any and all claims and causes of action arising out of the installation and use of this product.
- If installation cannot be verified, the applicant must reimburse Metropolitan for funds received including all associated processing costs.
- Reduced water bill is not guaranteed. In some cases, actual water use may increase as a result of proper watering.
- Applications will be processed in the order received.
